FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – There is a large police presence south of the North Dakota State University campus and officers are asking the public to avoid the area near Dakota Drive and 16th Street N. in Fargo.
Around a dozen Fargo Police officers and Red River Valley SWAT members are at the scene. Officers are using loud speakers to communicate with someone inside an apartment building and have guns drawn.
The initial response was for a medical emergency around 6:15 a.m.
