CASS COUNTY, Minn. (KVRR) — Cass County Sheriff’s Office says the deputy involved in a shooting in Turtle Lake Township has been released from a Fargo hospital.
The deputy was shot in the thigh and is expected to make a full recovery.
The incident happened Sunday when a man fled on foot, setting off a pursuit before the exchange of gunfire.
The suspect died at the scene.
