WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Many cities in the metro like to hold a “Skate with Santa” event, and on Sunday, West Fargo got in on the action.
The event did face some difficulties, as organizers determined it was too cold this weekend to hold it at its original location, outdoors at the Lights in West Fargo.
Luckily, they were able to move it indoors to Veterans Memorial Arena.
Alongside skating with Saint Nick, there were chances for kids to write letters to him, enjoy free hot chocolate and cookies, and donate to the Les Schwab toy drive.
The event began at 1 and ran until 3 in the afternoon.
