Monrovia – A Liberian man, whose identity has not been established, is reportedly stranded in Ghana after attempting to gain entry to what followers described as Eboh Noah’s “Ark,” following a failed doomsday prophecy.
Eboh Noah is a self-proclaimed Ghanaian prophet who claimed that God would destroy the Earth with floodwaters on December 25, mirroring the biblical account of Noah’s Ark.
In a video circulating on Instagram, the man—believed to be Liberian—is seen sitting beside his suitcase in Elmina, Ghana, visibly frustrated and appearing uncertain about his next move.
The man is reportedly among thousands of people, including Ghanaians and foreign nationals, who traveled toward the supposed location of the “arks” after Eboh Noah warned of an imminent global flood. Eyewitnesses said men, women, and children arrived with packed belongings, prepared to enter the area where the vessels were allegedly located.

Many followers were said to have acted out of fear and deep religious conviction, believing the prophecy would come to pass. However, no flood occurred on the announced date.
Despite the extraordinary nature of the claims, reports indicate that the prophecy was widely believed. Some followers allegedly sold their homes and personal belongings, while others reportedly paid money in exchange for what was described as guaranteed space on the vessels. Others were said to have traveled from neighboring countries, driven by fear of the predicted flood and hopes of salvation.
As the prophesied date approached, Ghanaian authorities reportedly intervened and arrested Eboh Noah on allegations of spreading false information and misleading the public. He was later released.
Shortly before his arrest, the self-styled prophet allegedly released another video that reignited public debate, claiming that the absence of the flood was proof that God had forgiven humanity. He subsequently announced plans to organize a large celebration, describing it as a thanksgiving for divine mercy.

In a further twist that fueled public backlash, the doomsday prophet made a surprise appearance at rapper Sarkodie’s Rapperholic concert on December 25, 2025—the very day the flood was supposed to begin.
Video footage showed Eboh Noah dramatically introducing Sarkodie before a massive crowd, a moment that quickly became one of the most talked-about highlights of the annual hip-hop festival, which drew thousands to celebrate Ghanaian music culture.

Social media users reacted with a mix of disbelief, amusement, and criticism. Many questioned why a man who had warned of imminent apocalyptic destruction would appear at a major entertainment event hours after his prophecy failed. Others suggested the appearance was a calculated publicity stunt, while some praised the unexpected collaboration between the prophet and the rapper.
