JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KVRR) — A GoFundMe account has identified a Jamestown High School student who was hit and killed by a semi in Jamestown as 16-year-old Jake Stiles.

It happened around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon when the semi driver was turning onto 4th Street Northeast and hit Stiles while he was walking across the street.

Highway Patrol says the driver of the semi, a 36-year-old man from Lehr, North Dakota, is under investigation.

The fundraiser says Stiles was walking home from Dollar General when he was struck and killed.
