The former Heaven Eleven captain scored a sensational brace to inspire New Radiant Sports Club to a chaotic 8–4 demolition of Eagles FC in the Dhivehi Premier League over the weekend.
The high-scoring spectacle marked a clinical breakthrough for the Liberian international.
Since arriving in the South Asian archipelago, Bility had been praised for his work rate but remained hungry for his first goal. That drought ended in spectacular style as he anchored the midfield and provided the finishing touch to a New Radiant attack that looked unstoppable.
A Masterclass in Malé
Bility’s brace not only opened his goal account in the league but also solidified his status as a key pillar in New Radiant’s quest for the 2025/26 title.
Despite defensive lapses on both sides that led to the 12-goal thriller, Bility’s tactical intelligence and ability to transition play from defense to attack stood out.
His goals came at critical junctures, stifling any hopes of an Eagles FC comeback and energizing the Malé-based supporters.
“The goals will do a lot for my confidence,” Bility told FrontPage Africa. “I have been contributing in many ways, but a midfielder of my caliber I always want that end product. Now that the floodgates are open, I expect even more.”
From the LFA to the Indian Ocean
Bility’s journey to the Maldives began on December 16, 2025, when he completed a high-profile transfer from the Liberian top flight.
He departed the local league with a glittering resume, having been crowned the Heaven Eleven Player of the Season and Most Valuable Player (MVP) of Liberia the season before
His arrival at New Radiant was viewed by South Asian football analysts as a “statement signing.” At the time of his move, the club sat third in the standings; with Bility now finding his scoring boots, the “Blues” are breathing down the necks of the league leaders.
Rising Influence
For Bility, the brace is more than just a statistic—it is a validation of his adaptation to a new footballing culture.
Transitioning from the physical demands of the Liberian league to the technical, fast-paced style of the Dhivehi Premier League is no small feat.
With the win, New Radiant moves closer to the summit of the table.
For the Liberian midfield maestro, the message to the rest of the league is clear: the MVP has arrived, and the goals have only just begun.
