Allegiant Air pilots to hold one-day nationwide information picket over stalled contract talks

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Just when you thought travel headaches would get better with the reopening of the government, there is a new snag.

Teamsters APA Local 2118, which represents 1,300 Allegiant Air pilots, will hold a nationwide picket on Tuesday.

They say after five years without an amended contract, Allegiant pilots have officially lost confidence in management.

They plan to hold an information picket from ten to two local time at all 22 Allegiant bases including the home base of Las Vegas, Des Moines, Orlando and others.

The teamsters say they are done waiting, done with delays and are united for real leadership, accountability, and a stable future for the airline.

Allegiant Air offers a number of flights out of Fargo, Grand Forks, Bismarck and Minot to Las Vegas, Phoenix and other destinations.

We have reached out to Allegiant Air for a comment and are waiting to hear back.
