Monrovia — Golden Touch Corporation (GTC), a Liberian-owned company, has launched a Compliance Services Division aimed at easing bureaucratic bottlenecks and speeding up access to government documentation and regulatory services.

The facility, officially opened over the weekend at GTC’s newly constructed headquarters on 1st Street near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is designed as a one-stop center for processing key public services. These include business registration, passport applications and renewals, driver’s licenses, vehicle registration, visas, birth certificates, biometric services, and work and resident permits.

Beyond document processing, the center will provide research assistance, application preparation, follow-ups, payments, license acquisition, and full administrative support—positioning GTC as a compliance and regulatory facilitation hub for individuals, professionals, and businesses operating in Liberia.

Founded in 2018 and revitalized in 2022 after the COVID-19 slowdown, Golden Touch Corporation was established to help clients navigate Liberia’s often complex administrative and regulatory landscape.

Speaking at the launch, Founder and Chief Executive Officer Ms. Cassandra L. Hampton said the Compliance Services Division was created in response to persistent challenges faced by entrepreneurs and individuals dealing with delays, red tape, and unclear procedures.

“It is my distinct honor to stand before you today as the Chief Executive Officer of Golden Touch Corporation,” Hampton said. “Your presence here reflects our shared vision of building a transparent, efficient, and investor-friendly business environment in Liberia.”

Hampton explained that GTC’s wider portfolio includes investment facilitation, intermediary services, brand image management, event planning, and corporate compliance. She stressed that sustainable economic growth depends not only on capital but also on efficient regulatory systems and trusted partners.

“Entrepreneurs were spending too much time fighting red tape and not enough time growing their businesses,” she said. “To address that challenge, we are proudly launching our compliance service today.”

She added that the center is intended to strengthen governance, risk management, and regulatory excellence through timely, accurate, and transparent service delivery.

Head of Compliance Services, Cllr. Kojoe Ross, described the center as a practical solution to everyday difficulties faced by Liberians seeking government services. He recalled that the site was once a dumping ground before being transformed into a modern service facility.

“This institution stands between you and unnecessary headaches,” Ross said, noting that the center will eliminate informal middlemen, excessive fees, and uncertainty. He assured clients that official costs would be clearly stated, with only minimal processing fees added, and that applicants would be updated throughout the process.

Ross emphasized that GTC is not competing with government agencies but complementing them by reducing congestion, enhancing transparency, and supporting efficient service delivery.

Serving as Co-Launcher, Deputy Minister of Commerce Hon. Tarnue Jeke praised GTC for filling gaps in Liberia’s transition to digital governance and investment facilitation. He disclosed that business registration is expected to go fully online by 2026 and highlighted the importance of integrating biometric systems, trade portals, and the national single window.

As Chief Launcher, Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection Hon. Gbeme Horace-Kollie delivered an emotional address, lauding GTC’s resilience and success as a women-led enterprise in a traditionally male-dominated sector.

“I have seen Golden Touch struggle, and I have seen it rise,” the minister said. “This launch proves that when opportunity meets determination, transformation happens.”
