Juvenile killed, 2 more wounded in shooting in San Francisco

One juvenile was killed and two others were wounded in a shooting Friday evening near Golden Gate Avenue and Laguna Street, San Francisco police said.

Officers from multiple districts responded to reports of a shooting at about 5:13 p.m. and found three juvenile victims suffering from gunshot wounds, according to authorities.

Police rendered aid until paramedics arrived and transported all three to a hospital.

One victim sustained life-threatening injuries and later died at the hospital, police said. The two other victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators from the San Francisco Police Department’s Homicide Detail are leading the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 415-575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411, beginning the message with “SFPD.”
