WEST FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – A man from Boulder, Colorado was taken to the hospital after leading West Fargo Police on a chase on Thursday night.
The West Fargo Police Department was dispatched to the 2900 block of 7th Street West around 7:15 p.m. on Christmas Day. The caller said a man assaulted them and stole their vehicle.
Officers found the vehicle around 7: 40 p.m. and tried to pull it over, but say the driver took off. Police chased the vehicle and officers say the driver, 35-year-old Dennis Jones, crashed into a tree and a residence causing minimal damage near the intersection of Kensington Drive and Hidden Circle.
Jones was taken to the hospital. He is charged with felony fleeing, felony vehicle theft, driving under suspension, domestic assault and violating a protection order.
