MOORHEAD, MN (KVRR) – The Moorhead Police Department says they have made an arrest in connection with an assault that led to the hospitalization of a 53-year-old woman.
Authorities say they responded to the 1800 block of 20th Street South to assist Sanford Ambulance with a medical call. Officers on scene determined there was evidence of an assault taking place.
They then arrested 22-year-old Maryssa Cooley of Moorhead. She is currently held at the Clay County Jail, facing charges of Felony Third Degree Assault and Misdemeanor Domestic Assault.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
