No travel advisory issued in portion of west central Minnesota

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (KVRR) – The Minnesota Department of Transportation has issued a no travel advisory on state and federal highways in Clay and Wilkin counties in west central Minnesota due to high winds causing blowing snow and zero visibility.

The advisory includes Highway 75 between Perley and Breckenridge, Highway 210 from Breckenridge to Fergus Falls and Highway 9 from Borup to Breckenridge.

Authorities say visibility has been severely reduced and it is “very dangerous” to travel.
