Salvation Army serves up Christmas Eve Dinner

Fargo, N.D. (KVRR) – It’s the season of giving, and the Salvation Army in Fargo is making sure that those in need still get the chance for a Christmas dinner.

Volunteers served up a piping hot meal of glazed ham, potatoes, green beans, corn, and of course desert, with the goal of feeding roughly 150 guests.

The volunteers say that they keep coming back for the chance to help those in need, and for the feeling of fellowship during the holidays.

“The fellowship we have as volunteers too. We meet new people, we have familiar faces that come back every year and do this. It’s just a joy, it’s just a joy.”

The event was free, and there was no need to RSVP.
