SAN JOSE — Firefighters were responding to a two-alarm fire at an apartment building Sunday morning, authorities said.
The blaze broke out at a two-story apartment complex on the 500 block of Toyon Avenue, according to a social media post from the San Jose Fire Department.
The incident was called in around 9 a.m., authorities said. Smoke was coming from the second floor of the building.
Authorities asked for people to avoid the area. Traffic was impacted near the apartment complex.
